Ross Steinberg

I am a first-year J.D. candidate at the New York University School of Law, and am focusing my scholarship on antitrust, torts, and administrative law. I was formerly an undergraduate student at Pomona College, where I majored in Economics and International Relations and minored in French.

I have been published by the American Enterprise Institute as well as the Illinois State Bar Association, with my pieces touching upon a range of legal and non-legal subjects. Additionally, my college thesis analyzes the use of the currency as a mechanism that fosters positive sentiment toward national and supra-national governments.

Currently, I am a Research Assistant at NYU Law and am developing academic articles on the certification of class actions involving price-fixing as well as on the use of public nuisance suits to compensate for societal harms. This summer I will be working as a law clerk at the Institute for Policy Integrity, a legal think tank focused on analyzing environmental policy.
